Love Grows
It’s not enough to have a mission, there must be a clear, and simple strategy to accomplish the mission. How do we accomplish the mission?
Our strategy to accomplish the mission is described in (4) words:
GATHER, GROW, GIVE, GO
God Matters, Growth Matters, Generosity Matters, Going Matters
1. WHY GROWTH MATTERS
a. God expects his people to Grow
You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Matthew 5:48
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. 2 Peter 3:18
b. Christlikeness is the goal of our spiritual growth.
Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. 3 And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure. 1 John 3:2-3
For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. Romans 8:29
HOW GROWTH HAPPENS
Spiritual growth is the result of the intentional commitments you make.
Develop a daily Time with God.

Read Sing Study Serve Fast
Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness; 8 for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come 1 Timothy 4:7-8
Spiritual growth is demonstrated by your behavior more than your knowledge.
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves
James 1:22
3. THE SOURCE OF SPIRITUAL GROWTH
God supplies the Resources for growth.
for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. – Philippians 2:13
God will bring our Spiritual growth to completion.
2. HOW GROWTH HAPPENS
Spiritual growth is Intentional not accidental.
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. Galatians 3:27-29
Growing in Christ means Dying to self.
And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and
take up his cross daily and follow me. Luke 9:23 LOVE GROWS. OUR GROWTH MATTERS
B.L. The word of God is enough for us to grow into spiritual maturity.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23
